Please read this disclaimer together with our Booking Terms, Cancellation Terms, Payment Terms and Privacy Policy. Nothing here limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under English law.

1. About this website

This website is operated by Freespirit Adventure Tours, 49 Dudley Street, Bedford, England, MK40 3TA. It provides general information about our guided motorcycle tours, destinations, proposed itineraries and related services.

Website content is intended to help prospective riders understand the character of our tours. It is not a substitute for the booking documents, pre-departure information or instructions issued for a particular tour. If there is a conflict, the terms and information issued for the booked tour take priority.

2. Accuracy and availability

We take reasonable care to keep the website accurate and current. However, descriptions, maps, photographs, distances, riding times, accommodation, border arrangements, prices, availability and itineraries may change. Content is provided for general guidance and may contain errors or become out of date.

We do not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted, secure or free from faults or harmful components. We may change, suspend or withdraw website content without notice.

3. Adventure motorcycling risks

Motorcycle touring is an inherently hazardous activity. Our tours may involve remote locations, high altitude, mountain roads, loose gravel, mud, sand, river crossings, steep drops, poor road surfaces, road works, extreme temperatures, unpredictable traffic, animals, mechanical problems and limited access to medical assistance.

Riders remain responsible for riding within their own ability, exercising reasonable care, wearing the required protective equipment and following local law and the safety instructions of the tour leader. Participation does not remove the ordinary risks of motorcycling or travel.

Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

4. Rider suitability and personal responsibility

Tour descriptions may indicate expected experience, fitness and riding conditions. Each rider must make an honest assessment of their competence, health and ability to complete the tour. Riders must provide accurate information when requested and promptly tell us about any relevant change.

  • Hold the correct, valid driving licence and any required international driving permit.
  • Obtain appropriate visas, passports, vaccinations and travel documentation.
  • Arrange comprehensive travel insurance that covers the motorcycle capacity, countries, activities, altitude, medical treatment, evacuation, repatriation, cancellation and personal belongings involved.
  • Follow medical advice and carry adequate supplies of prescribed medication.
  • Inspect allocated equipment and report faults or damage promptly.

5. Health, altitude and medical information

Information on health, altitude sickness, hydration, medication or fitness is general travel guidance only and is not medical advice. Riders should obtain advice from an appropriately qualified medical professional, particularly where they have an existing condition, take medication or will travel at altitude.

Medical facilities and emergency response times may be limited in remote areas. Evacuation can be delayed by weather, terrain, local infrastructure or permissions. We cannot guarantee a particular medical outcome or response time.

6. Itineraries and circumstances beyond our control

Adventure itineraries are necessarily flexible. Routes, accommodation, motorcycles, support arrangements and schedules may be altered for safety, operational or legal reasons, including weather, landslides, road closures, political events, border restrictions, official advice, natural disasters, illness or supplier failure.

Any specific rights relating to a significant change or cancellation are governed by the applicable Booking and Cancellation Terms and by rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Third-party services and external links

Tours may involve independent airlines, accommodation providers, motorcycle suppliers, guides, transport operators, insurers and other local providers. References or links to third parties do not amount to a guarantee or endorsement. Third-party websites and services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices.

8. Maps, photographs and testimonials

Maps and route illustrations are indicative and must not be used as the sole source for navigation or safety decisions. Photographs and video show particular places and conditions at particular times and do not guarantee that the same conditions, views, accommodation or route will be available on a later tour. Testimonials reflect individual experiences and do not guarantee a particular result.

9. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the text, layout, branding, photographs and other original material on this website are owned by or licensed to Freespirit Adventure Tours. You may view and print reasonable extracts for personal, non-commercial use. No material may be reproduced, republished or exploited commercially without prior written permission.

10. Governing law

This disclaimer and any non-contractual dispute arising from the website are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer right to bring proceedings elsewhere.

11. Changes to this disclaimer

We may update this disclaimer when our website, tours or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top shows when this version took effect.
